About Us:
The ARB exists to enforce homeowner rules for Old Town Village in a consistent and reasonable way. Our mandate is to protect and enhance property values. We assist homeowners in their efforts to comply with the covenants established by our Old Town Village Homeowners’ Association.
The ARB meets quarterly on the first Saturday in January, March, June, and September at 10:00 a.m. in the Roundhouse to discuss potential rule violations and ARB applications from homeowners. The board conducts research regarding applications and responds accordingly to the homeowner(s) in a timely fashion.
The ARB reports violations, such as home maintenance problems, to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors directs the property manager to inform homeowners of the violation and corrective action required, by certified letter, as required by our governing documents.
Homeowner Responsibilities:
All owners are required to keep their property, without limitations, including the steps, stoops, fences, patios, decks, individual driveways, brick columns, courtyards, rear yards, and all landscaping, in good order and repair, in a clean and sanitary condition, free of debris, all in a manner and with such frequency as is consistent with good property management.
Good property management includes regular maintenance of the home and property, such as sweeping, power washing, screen repair, window washing, caulking, exterior painting, deck and fence staining, wood repair, roof maintenance, etc.
Owners are required and solely responsible for watering their yards, courtyards and shrubbery.
Failure to maintain your property is a violation of OTV’s homeowner covenants and may result in corrective action by the ARB.
