Responsibilities
Determines the tasks and standards for the maintenance of the appearance of the Association’s property. The landscape includes the grounds, planting areas/beds, the plantings by owners, residents and the landscape vendor, park benches, sprinkler system, storm ceptor, and the sidewalks in courtyards and at the perimeter of the Village. The services include snow removal, disposal and pickup of recyclables and household trash (not including hazardous materials), and pruning, removal and replacement of trees.
Oversees the performances of contracted vendors. Informs the Board when the performance standards are not met by vendors.
Informs the ARB and Board when the appearance standards are not met.
Organization
The Committee currently has four teams, each representing the interests and needs of the four quadrants in the Village. Each team is headed by a "captain." The captains and members have management and oversight responsibilities. They walk their quadrant weekly. They report deficient performance tasks/standards of vendors and deficient appearance standards of owners/residents. Owners/residents who observe deficiencies of any kind are asked to contact their team captain. The captains of each quadrant team are: Tom Lane, Northwest; Dale Cloyd, Northeast; Mike Callahan, Southwest; and, Don Wheeler, Southeast.
Meetings, Feedback, and Volunteers
The Committee meets the first Wednesday each month at 7 p.m. in the Roundhouse. Owners and residents are invited. The Committee welcomes complaints, suggestions, compliments and volunteers.
Trash and Recycling
OTV trash is picked up on Monday and Thursday. Recycling pick up is Friday.
